Niclas Karlsson

Biography

Niclas is one of Sweden's most promising upcomers within the jibbers on skies, and he is also the youngest team member here at Xport Management being only 17 years old. He has managed to win more competitions then many of the other much older jibbers, and at the same time he is still passing school with more then an OK. When we asked our other riders what their hobbies are, most of them said surfing, climbing, skateboarding and more, and when we asked Niclas we got the typical answers from a teenager like sleeping, hanging out with my friends and stuff like that.

Niclas has proved himself with the older guys over and over and will continue filming with a few different companies in the future. The photographers love him since he almost always says yes when somebody asks if he want to get out and take some photos, and not only that, he takes every photoshoot extremely serious and does all the tricks clean and sweet.

Last year inbetween filming and taking photos Niclas won the Jibb Academy and worked as a jibbcoach at Sollentuna Freestyle. This past winter 2007 he helped out as a coach for the competitors at the Jibb Academy and also competed a great deal himself. In his spare time during the summers he usually hangs out at Bosön Waterjump where he gets some nice tips from Bosöns manager and coach, Daniel Lotfis who also used to coach the worldknown Jon Olsson. Niclas has already had a few nice photos in different magazines and had a few interviews here and there. With sponsors like Salomon, Smith and Xtravel, Niclas will become an even bigger name before you know it.
