Wille Lindberg

Biography

Wille who won the Scandinavian Bigmountain Championship in 2006 and the World Freeride Qulifying Tour 2008 has got a great future ahead of him on the mountiain if he continues riding the same structured and fearless way as he does today. He is a daredevil who loves new challanges and he is looking forward competing on the World Tour and many other competitions next winter. Wille spends most falls workingout and sufing if he gets the time for it preparing himself physically before the winterseason.

This winter Wille has been all over the world where the snow has been but with his basecamp in Verbier Switzerland. Wille have some filmprojekts, competitions and photoshoots already planned for next winter. Wille has competed a great deal since he started in 2001 when he was only 16 years old. He has won the Finish Championship, Noulja (abisko) Extreme, gotten number 13 in Verbier Extreme, as mentioned before also the first place in the Scandinavian bigmountain Championship in 2006, the Worl Freeride Qualifying Tour 2008 and many more.

Born in Sweden but raised in Switzerland outside Verbier until he was six when he moved back to Varberg, Sweden with his parents. When Wille was 16 he moved to Björkliden in the northern parts of Sweden so he could ski at the same time as he was studying in Kiruna. Wille Lindberg is a name to remember since it is definately not the last you have seen of this young "kickass" freeskier.
